Happy Valentine’s Day!
To celebrate the season of love and romance, I wanted to write a blog post listing some of my favourite cozy mystery series that contain a little bit of romance. Romance is rarely the focus of a cozy mystery (obviously, since there is an entirely different genre dedicated to it), but many contain romantic elements or even an entire subplot. And I have to admit these tend to be my favourites.
Here are seven cozy mystery series I love that have a dash of romance to go along with the mystery. I’m going to leave out the love interest(s) though so there aren’t any spoilers!
Noodle Shop Mysteries by Vivien Chien
Book One: Death by Dumpling
Centered around the Ho-Lee Noodle House where Lana Lee works, this series currently has four books with book five being released later this month and book six coming out in August.
Sherlock Holmes Bookshop Mysteries by Vicki Delany
Book One: Elementary, She Read
Gemma Doyle owns the Sherlock Holmes Bookshop which sells all things themed to the great detective. There are currently five books in this series.
Bibliophile Mysteries By Kate Carlisle
Book One: Homicide in Hardcover
This long-running series, with the fourteenth book set for release in June, centres around book restoration expert Brooklyn Wainwright.
Cora Crafts Mysteries by Mollie Cox Bryan
Book One: Death Among the Doilies
Cora Chevalier hosts various craft retreats in her Victorian home. There are currently four books in this series.
Secret, Book, and Scone Society by Ellery Adams

Nora Pennington owns the Miracle Books shop where she matches the perfect book to help aid a customer’s pain and sorrow. The third book was recently released in this series.
